Every meat lover has their preferred butcher! However, finding the time for a visit can sometimes be a challenge. Enter The Butcher Block, your solution for convenient access to premium meat and deli products delivered fresh direct to your doorstep.
With The Butcher Block, you can browse and purchase from our wide selection of top-quality meat and deli products with just a click of a button. All online orders are freshly cut on the day of delivery, ensuring that you always receive the freshest meat possible. Plus, enjoy island-wide delivery at no extra cost when you meet our minimum order quantity.
But that's not all! Our online store also offers a variety of homemade deli items, renowned pies, and a diverse array of spices and condiments. And don't forget to explore our selection of favorites from South Africa, France, and beyond.
Your right to cancellation starts at the time of placing your order. As all our products are food items and are therefore perishable, your right to cancel ceases 48 hours before dispatching or collecting of your order.
DELIVERY INFORMATION:
Please note, delivery can take up to 7 days in some cases and delivery delays can occasionally occur due to weather limitations and related stay-at-home warnings. Shipping charges for your order, if applicable, will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Delivery timelines will vary depending on your location and the type of product you have chosen.
Delivery in The North:
- Orders received before 10.00am Monday-Wednesday could be delivered same day (subject to availability and proximity).
- Orders received after 10.00am Monday, Tuesday & Thursday will be delivered the following day (subject to availability and proximity).
- Orders received on Saturday, Sunday or on any public holiday will be processed the following working day and delivered latest by Tuesday.
Delivery to Central, West & South:
- Our in-house chilled delivery vehicle will deliver all orders to the western and southern regions on Thursday weekly (in the event of public holidays, extreme weather or if there are more deliveries than expected we could split these areas over Thursday and Friday).
Delivery to East (Flacq, Roches Noires, Azuri):
- Our in-house chilled delivery vehicle will deliver all orders to the Eastern regions on Wednesday or Thursday weekly (in the event of public holidays, extreme weather or if there are more deliveries than expected we could split these areas over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).
Delivery charges:
“Free Delivery” is applicable for orders over Rs. 2,500 across the island subject to availability of the item(s) you have ordered.
For orders valued below Rs. 2,500, a delivery charge of Rs. 450 will be added to your order on checkout.
ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made through this Site. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

SHIPPING COSTS
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of this Shipping and Delivery Policy by posting updates and changes to our Site. It is your responsibility to check our Site periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our Site or the Services following the posting of any changes to this Shipping and Delivery Policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
