Choose the tangy tones of lemon and herb; or the mild, savoury character of our Barbecue marinade. If you prefer a warmer kick go for the Peri-Peri. They are an easy option for braais, casual entertaining or a quick meal at home.
Marinade Options:
- Lemon & Herb: A lightly tangy and sweet marinade, perfect for kids
- Barbecue: A milder, savoury marinade suited to family meals and customers who prefer less heat.
- Peri-Peri: A spicier option with a more noticeable chilli character.
Cooking Tips
- Braaiing: Cook over medium heat, turning regularly so that the marinade does not burn before the chicken is cooked through.
- Grilling: Place under a preheated grill and turn regularly for even browning.
- Oven cooking: Arrange on a lined baking tray and roast until the chicken is fully cooked, turning partway through.
- Resting: Allow the kebabs to rest briefly before serving.
Chicken must be cooked completely through. Ensure the centre is piping hot and no raw or pink meat remains.
Serve with rice, couscous, potato salad, coleslaw, grilled vegetables or flatbreads.
Storage
These are from our fresh chicken breast and have never been previously frozen. Keep refrigerated and use by the date shown on the packaging. For home freezing, freeze as soon as possible after receiving and defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator before cooking. Do not refreeze once thawed at home.
