Chicken wings are beloved for their rich flavor, crispy skin, and tender meat, making them a favorite for appetizers, snacks, and main courses. Chicken wings can be prepared in various styles, from baked and grilled to fried and smoked, and are often served with a wide range of sauces and seasonings.

There are so many ways to prepare chicken wings, here are some of our favorite techniques:
- Baking: Bake chicken wings in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 30-40 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Toss them in your favorite sauce before or after baking.
- Grilling: Grill the wings over medium-high heat for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally until they are crispy and cooked through. Baste with sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Frying: Deep-fry chicken wings at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Toss them in sauce immediately after frying for maximum flavor.
- Smoking: Smoke the wings at a low temperature (around 225°F/110°C) for 1.5-2 hours until tender and infused with a smoky flavor. Finish with a higher heat to crisp the skin.
- Seasoning: Chicken wings are versatile and can be seasoned with a variety of rubs, marinades, and sauces. Common seasonings include salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Popular sauces include buffalo, barbecue, teriyaki, and honey mustard.
- Resting: After cooking, let the chicken wings rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute, ensuring a juicy and flavorful result.
- Plating: Serve the wings hot, arranged on a platter with dipping sauces on the side. Garnish with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and blue cheese or ranch dressing for a classic presentation.
