Chicken mince is prepared in larger, controlled production batches to maintain consistency and follow the thorough cleaning process required when using our mincing equipment for poultry.
Once minced, it is packed and frozen immediately. This is a deliberate part of our production process, helping us preserve the freshness and quality of the chicken at the point of preparation.
The product is supplied plain and unseasoned, giving you complete flexibility when cooking.
Its mild character makes it a versatile alternative to traditional mince and allows it to absorb herbs, spices and sauces particularly well. Use it for chicken meatballs, burger patties, tacos, pasta sauces, lettuce cups or savoury fillings.
Cooking Advice
- Browning: Cook in a lightly oiled pan over medium-high heat, breaking the mince apart as it cooks.
- Meatballs or patties: Combine with your preferred seasoning and binding ingredients, shape and cook thoroughly.
- Sauces and fillings: Brown before adding sauces, vegetables or other ingredients.
- Food safety: Chicken mince must be cooked thoroughly until it reaches an internal temperature of 74°C.
Because chicken breast is naturally lean, avoid excessive cooking once it is safely done.
