Our Chicken & Cheese Pies combine a savoury chicken filling with the comforting richness of cheese, wrapped in buttery, flaky puff pastry.
Made locally by our original pie supplier, they offer a familiar, family-friendly flavour in the substantial rectangular shape associated with South African-style pies.
Product Details
Each pack contains two Chicken & Cheese Pies of the same flavour.
Each pie weighs approximately 200g, comprising approximately 100g of pastry and 100g of filling. The pies are supplied frozen and should be cooked directly from frozen.
Cooking Advice
Brush the tops of the frozen pies with beaten egg for a golden finish.

Oven: Preheat to 200°C and bake for approximately 25–30 minutes.

Air fryer: Cook at 175°C for approximately 30–35 minutes.
For a more consistently cooked base, carefully detach each pie from its foil tray and rub a little butter onto the underside. Return it to the tray before cooking.
Ensure the pastry is golden and the filling is piping hot throughout. Allow the pies to stand briefly before serving.
Serving Suggestions
Enjoy on its own as a satisfying lunch or serve with chips, vegetables or a fresh salad.
Storage
Keep frozen and use by the best-before date shown on the packaging. Cook directly from frozen.
